Terms of Service

When you enter, access, or use the products and services provided by AnyShort, you and the operator of AnyShort shall be bound by these Terms of Service. To clearly define the rights, responsibilities, and behavioral boundaries of both parties during the use of the services, please read these Terms in full before you begin using them, paying special attention to provisions concerning payments, liability for breach, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

If you do not accept any provision of these Terms, please do not continue to access or use AnyShort. Your commencement or continuation of use of the relevant products and services indicates that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms.

Users under the age of 18 or without full civil capacity should read these Terms under the supervision and guidance of their guardians, and pay special attention to provisions relating to minors. If you register or use the services without complying with the foregoing requirements, AnyShort shall not be liable for any adverse consequences that may arise and reserves the right to terminate the provision of services to such users.

I. Parties and Scope of Application

(1) These Terms constitute an agreement between the user and the operator of AnyShort regarding the use of AnyShort's products and services.

(2) "AnyShort operator" or "we" in these Terms refers to the relevant legal entity responsible for the operation of AnyShort.

(3) "User" or "you" in these Terms includes any individual who directly accesses, registers, logs in, or otherwise uses AnyShort's products and services.

(4) Regardless of which product or service under AnyShort you use, you shall comply with these Terms. If the relevant product page, service page, or feature page contains separate express rules, such rules shall also govern that particular service.

II. Account Usage and Security Management

(1) Login Methods

You may use some products or services as a guest without registering an account. To reduce the risk of losing guest account data that cannot be recovered, we recommend that you use Google or other login methods supported by AnyShort.

(2) Account Custody

You shall properly safeguard your account, password, and other login credentials. When you temporarily stop using the services, you should log out of your account promptly.

Any account theft, password disclosure, or unauthorized use caused by your failure to properly safeguard your account shall be borne by you.

(3) Security Issues Not Caused by the Platform

AnyShort shall not be liable for account security issues, unauthorized privacy disclosures, or any losses arising from or related to such issues that are not caused by AnyShort's fault.

III. Equipment, Network, and Software Required for Using the Services

(1) Equipment and Expenses

When using AnyShort services, you need to prepare terminal devices that can support the relevant services, such as computers, mobile phones, or other devices.

All equipment costs, network charges, communication fees, telephone charges, and other related expenses incurred by using the services shall be borne by you.

(2) Device Resource Consumption

You understand and agree that running AnyShort may occupy or consume storage space, operating resources, network bandwidth, and other device resources of your terminal equipment.

(3) Software License

If using AnyShort services requires downloading relevant software, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable software license.

This license only permits you to use the software to access and use AnyShort services and may not be used for any other unauthorized purposes.

(4) Software Updates

To improve user experience, enhance service security, and maintain product feature consistency, AnyShort may release software updates from time to time.

You should update the software to the latest version promptly. If you do not install or use the latest version, AnyShort cannot guarantee that older versions will continue to operate properly.

IV. Manner of Use and Your Undertakings

(1) Personal and Non-Commercial Use

Unless you have a separate written or express agreement with AnyShort, you may only use the relevant services for personal and non-commercial purposes.

(2) Use in Accordance with Specified Methods

You shall access and use the services in the manner provided, recognized, or approved by AnyShort. The right to use the services granted to you under these Terms may not be transferred to any other individual or entity.

(3) Prohibition of Interference with Services

Without the authorization of AnyShort, you shall not use any plugins, add-ons, scripts, or third-party tools to interrupt, disrupt, interfere with, tamper with, or otherwise affect the normal operation of the services.

Any violation of this provision shall be deemed a material breach, and AnyShort has the right to take corresponding measures in accordance with the provisions of these Terms regarding material breach.

V. User Conduct Rules and Prohibited Acts

When using AnyShort, you shall comply with applicable laws and regulations and shall not use the relevant products or services to commit illegal, regulatory, or rights-infringing acts, including but not limited to:

  • Producing, publishing, transmitting, disseminating, or storing content that endangers national security and unity, undermines social stability, violates public order and good customs, or contains abusive, defamatory, obscene, explicit, violent, or other content that violates national laws and regulations;
  • Publishing, sending, transmitting, or storing information that infringes the intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or other lawful rights of others;
  • Misleading, deceiving, or defrauding others by fabricating facts, concealing the true situation, or other means;
  • Publishing, transmitting, or disseminating advertising information, spam, or junk mail;
  • Engaging in other acts prohibited by laws and regulations.

If your conduct violates the above provisions, relevant state authorities or agencies may initiate proceedings against you, impose fines, or take other sanctions in accordance with the law, and may require AnyShort to provide necessary assistance.

Damages caused by your illegal or non-compliant conduct shall be borne by you in accordance with the law, and AnyShort shall not bear any related liability.

VI. Local Laws, Social Norms, and Public Events

(1) Local Legal Requirements

When using AnyShort services, you shall comply with the laws and regulations applicable in your locality and respect local moral standards, cultural customs, and social practices.

If your conduct violates local laws, regulations, morals, or customs, you shall bear the relevant liability.

(2) Political and Public Activities

You shall not, through the use of AnyShort services, cause AnyShort to become involved in political events or public incidents. In such cases, AnyShort has the right to suspend or terminate the provision of services to you.

(3) Material Breach

Violation of this provision constitutes a material breach, and AnyShort may take measures such as suspending services, terminating services, withholding fees, or pursuing liability in accordance with these Terms.

VII. Content You Transmit and Third-Party Claims

(1) Responsibility for User Content

You shall bear full responsibility for content sent, uploaded, published, or transmitted through AnyShort services. Such content includes but is not limited to web pages, text, images, audio, video, and graphics.

(2) Source and Authorization of Content

Content you publish, send, or transmit must have a lawful source. You must own the relevant content or have obtained the lawful permission and authorization of the content rights holder.

(3) Necessary Use of User Content

You agree that AnyShort may use content you send or transmit to the extent necessary for performing these Terms or providing the relevant services to you.

(4) Handling of Third-Party Complaints

If AnyShort receives a notice from a rights holder claiming that content you have sent, uploaded, or transmitted infringes their lawful rights, AnyShort has the right, in its sole discretion, to take measures such as deletion, blocking, or link disconnection with respect to the relevant content.

VIII. Handling of Non-Compliant Information and User Liability

(1) Content Handling

If AnyShort discovers that information you have published violates these Terms, or receives reports from others regarding such non-compliant information, AnyShort has the right to exercise its discretion and take technical measures, including deleting, blocking, or disconnecting the relevant information.

(2) Account Measures

AnyShort may also, depending on the nature and severity of the conduct, take one or more of the following measures:

  • Restrict certain functions;
  • Suspend the provision of services;
  • Terminate the provision of services;
  • Restrict, freeze, or terminate the account;
  • Pursue relevant legal liability.

(3) Third-Party Liability

If your breach or illegal act causes damage to third parties, you shall bear all liability independently.

If AnyShort suffers losses due to your conduct, you shall also compensate AnyShort for the damages incurred.

(4) Material Breach

Violation of this provision regarding illegal acts and prohibited content constitutes a material breach of these Terms. AnyShort has the right to suspend or terminate services and retain fees already paid by you as liquidated damages.

If the actual losses suffered by AnyShort due to your breach exceed the amount retained, AnyShort still has the right to seek legal recovery from you for the excess amount.

IX. Intellectual Property and Brand Rights

(1) Brand Rights

The names, logos, and other commercial marks used by AnyShort in its products or services are owned by AnyShort and protected by copyright or trademark law.

(2) Content Rights

All information and content related to AnyShort services, including but not limited to materials, text, software, sound, pictures, video, graphics, and related software, are owned by AnyShort or the respective rights holders, with copyrights, trademark rights, trade secrets, ownership, and other intellectual property rights, and are protected by applicable laws worldwide.

(3) Prohibited Uses

Unless you have obtained prior lawful authorization from AnyShort or the relevant rights holders, you shall not do any of the following with respect to the foregoing content:

  • Modify;
  • Copy or reproduce;
  • Distribute or transmit;
  • Display or perform;
  • License others to use;
  • Transfer or sell;
  • Create derivative works;
  • Otherwise infringe upon the relevant rights.

(4) Consequences of Infringement

If you violate this provision, AnyShort has the right to immediately cease providing services to you, without prejudice to AnyShort's exercise of other rights. You must also destroy all relevant materials, text, software, audio, pictures, video, or graphics that you have obtained.

(5) Material Breach

Infringement of the intellectual property rights described in this provision or unauthorized use shall be deemed a material breach. AnyShort may suspend or terminate services and retain fees already paid by you as liquidated damages.

If AnyShort's losses exceed the amount retained, AnyShort has the right to seek further recovery from you.

X. Personal Information and Information Security

(1) Protection Principle

Protecting the security of users' personal information is a fundamental principle that AnyShort follows when providing services.

(2) Security Measures

When you access our services using Google or other login methods, AnyShort will employ feasible security technologies and management processes, and establish a comprehensive information management system to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your personal information.

(3) Information Management

You may view and modify the information you have provided at any time.

(4) Restrictions on External Disclosure

Except as otherwise required by laws and regulations, AnyShort will not disclose your personal information to any company, organization, or individual without your consent.

(5) Non-Public Information

AnyShort will not disclose user registration information to the public or to third parties, nor will it disclose non-public content, data, or information stored by users on AnyShort's platform, servers, or databases during the use of online services, except in the following circumstances:

  • You have previously permitted AnyShort to disclose the relevant information;
  • Applicable laws and regulations require disclosure;
  • Government agencies or judicial authorities issue a corresponding order;
  • Disclosure is necessary to protect the public interest;
  • Disclosure is necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of AnyShort.

(6) Minors' Information Protection

AnyShort attaches great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If a parent or guardian believes that their minor child, especially a child under 10 years of age, needs to use AnyShort services, the parent or guardian may register an account on behalf of the child.

Such account must be registered in the name of one of the parents or guardians, and the parent or guardian shall determine whether the services provided by AnyShort are suitable for the minor.

XI. Advertising and Promotional Information

(1) Advertising Display

You agree that, during the provision of services, AnyShort may itself display or send advertisements and promotional content to you, or authorize third-party advertisers to do so.

Advertising or promotional content may be commercial or non-commercial.

(2) Adjustment of Advertising Display

AnyShort may, at its discretion, adjust the display channels and coverage of advertisements and promotional information without further notice to you.

(3) Your Responsibility

AnyShort will perform its obligations in relation to advertisers in accordance with the law. You shall exercise your own prudent judgment as to the truthfulness and reliability of information in advertisements, and shall be responsible for your own judgment and subsequent decisions.

(4) Limitation of Liability

Except as otherwise provided by law, AnyShort shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from advertising content or from transactions you enter into based on advertisements with advertisers, goods providers, or service providers.

(5) Advertising and Paid Services

Your purchase of a certain service, feature, or paid membership entitlement from AnyShort does not automatically exempt you from receiving or viewing advertisements provided by AnyShort.

Advertising is one of the effective considerations for AnyShort to provide the complete services to all users. By reading and accepting these Terms, you understand and agree to this rule.

XII. External Products and Third-Party Services

When you use products or services provided by third parties through AnyShort, in addition to complying with these Terms, you must also comply with the terms of service, rules, and policies established by such third parties.

For disputes arising from the use of third-party products or services, AnyShort and the relevant third party shall each bear their respective responsibilities within the scope provided by applicable laws and relevant agreements.

XIII. VIP Membership and Paid Content

(1) VIP Benefits

During the validity period of AnyShort VIP membership, members may enjoy relevant privileges marked with the VIP logo within the application free of charge.

If the user does not complete renewal within the prescribed period, upon expiration of the VIP membership period, the user will no longer be able to enjoy the corresponding VIP benefits.

(2) Price Standards and Adjustments

AnyShort has the right to formulate and adjust service prices, billing methods, and related rules at its discretion.

Different services may adopt different pricing standards, and the same service may be subject to different prices or billing methods at different stages.

AnyShort may also adjust the pricing of paid services based on actual conditions and may change previously free services into paid services.

Newly published or revised price standards, charging rules, and billing methods shall take effect on the date of publication and become an effective part of these Terms.

AnyShort will notify you of changes in price standards, rules, or billing methods through notifications or announcements on relevant pages before the changes take effect.

If you do not agree to the updated prices, charging rules, or billing methods, you may stop using the relevant services. Your continued use of the services after the update will be deemed as your acceptance of the updated content.

(3) VIP Benefits Not Transferable

VIP membership benefits belong only to the AnyShort account that actually purchased such benefits and may not be transferred between accounts.

Users shall not give, lend, lease, transfer, or sell VIP membership qualifications.

If any of the foregoing conduct is discovered, AnyShort has the right, without prior notice, to cancel the VIP status and related benefits of the transferee account. Any losses arising therefrom shall be borne by the transferor and the transferee.

(4) Validity Period of Paid Episodes

AnyShort offers paid viewing and reading services. From the date the user subscribes to a paid episode, the validity period of the relevant paid content is one month.

AnyShort only guarantees that the user can view the corresponding paid episodes within the said validity period. AnyShort shall not be liable for any malfunctions or access issues that may occur when the user views the relevant episodes after the validity period expires.

XIV. VIP Automatic Renewal

(1) Authorization for Renewal

When you choose to use the VIP automatic renewal service, you indicate that you fully understand and agree to the provisions of this clause regarding automatic renewal.

This service is an auto-renewal feature provided on the basis that you have already obtained VIP membership services.

After subscribing to the automatic renewal service, you are deemed to have authorized AnyShort to use the Google Play account associated with your VIP account (hereinafter referred to as the "Account") to process subsequent renewals on your behalf.

(2) Automatic Deduction

When the current VIP membership period is about to expire, we will automatically charge the fee for the next subscription period through the relevant Account.

If the Account balance is insufficient to complete the deduction for the next period, your VIP membership will expire upon the end of the current subscription period.

(3) Renewal and Cancellation Timing

VIP subscription fees will be paid through your Google Play Account.

Unless you turn off the automatic renewal function at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, the subscription will automatically enter the next period.

(4) Cancellation via Google Play

To turn off automatic renewal for in-app payments via Google Play, you may follow the steps below:

Go to the Google Play "Home" page → select "Payments & Subscriptions" → click "Subscriptions" → find "BonusTV" → enter the corresponding subscription page → choose to cancel the AnyShort VIP subscription.

XV. Virtual Currency Top-Up and Content Subscriptions

(1) Scope of Virtual Currency

Products in AnyShort may be purchased with virtual currency. Different products may require different virtual currencies.

When purchasing a product, you must use the correct virtual currency corresponding to that product.

(2) Prohibition of User-to-User Trading

You shall not trade virtual currency with other users on the AnyShort platform.

Trading virtual currency between users is a violation of these Terms. AnyShort has the right, without further notice, to take appropriate technical or administrative measures to ensure that users cannot conduct virtual currency trading within the platform.

(3) No Modification After Top-Up

Once a top-up is completed, you shall not request changes or modifications to the completed top-up.

(4) Information Confirmation Before Top-Up

When making a top-up on AnyShort, you must reconfirm the top-up account, top-up plan, and other necessary information.

If, due to your improper operation or your failure to fully understand the charging policy, virtual currency is credited to the wrong account, the wrong top-up plan is selected, or other losses occur, you shall not request compensation from AnyShort, nor shall you assert any claim against AnyShort on that basis.

(5) Third-Party Payment Services

If you use services provided by a third-party payment company during the top-up process, you shall also comply with all terms, rules, and policies of that third party.

You shall take reasonable measures to protect your personal payment information, including but not limited to bank account numbers, passwords, and verification codes.

You agree and confirm that AnyShort shall not be liable for any disputes arising from or related to third-party payment services.

(6) Top-Up Handling for Non-Compliant Accounts

If your account is frozen or terminated due to violation of these Terms, you shall not claim compensation or other claims from AnyShort.

(7) Amount Discrepancies Due to Platform Faults

If, due to a malfunction of the AnyShort platform, the amount you actually pay does not match the amount received by AnyShort, we will take appropriate remedial measures in respect of the discrepancy, after platform data has been restored and you are able to provide lawful and valid evidence.

If the amount received by AnyShort due to platform malfunction is less than the amount you actually paid, we will make up the difference.

If the amount received by AnyShort due to platform malfunction is more than the amount you actually paid, AnyShort has the right to recover the excess amount.

(8) Episode Subscriptions and Virtual Currency Refunds

Once you subscribe to an episode on AnyShort, you shall not request changes or modifications to that subscription.

Unless otherwise approved by AnyShort, you shall not request a refund of virtual currency paid for subscribing to the relevant content.

Even if AnyShort's relevant services are suspended or terminated, or if episodes for which you have paid are later removed from AnyShort, the virtual currency paid by the user for subscribing to and paying for episodes shall still not be refunded.

XVI. Service Availability and Technical Limitations

AnyShort's services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and to the extent supported by current technology and other objective conditions.

AnyShort will use its best efforts to maintain continuity and security of the services, but cannot foresee or fully prevent legal risks, technical risks, and other risks at all times.

Factors that may affect the normal provision of services include but are not limited to:

  • Force majeure;
  • Computer viruses or Trojan horses;
  • Hacker attacks;
  • System instability;
  • Service interruptions;
  • Data loss;
  • Defects in third-party services;
  • Government actions;
  • Other risks or losses that may affect service operation.

XVII. Force Majeure and Service Disclaimers

(1) Force Majeure

You understand and agree that during the use of AnyShort, the services may be interrupted due to force majeure.

Force majeure means objective events that are unforeseeable, insurmountable, or unavoidable and have a material impact on one or both parties, including but not limited to floods, earthquakes, plagues, storms, wars, civil unrest, government actions, and other natural disasters or social events.

In such circumstances, AnyShort will endeavor to cooperate with relevant entities and make timely repairs, but to the extent permitted by law, shall not be liable for any damage caused to users.

(2) Other Service Interruption Circumstances

To the extent permitted by law, AnyShort shall not be liable for service interruptions, suspensions, or unavailability caused by:

  • Computer viruses, Trojan horses, malicious programs, or hacker attacks;
  • Failures in the user's or AnyShort's software, systems, hardware, or communication lines;
  • Improper operation by the user;
  • Unauthorized use of the services by the user;
  • Other circumstances beyond AnyShort's control or reasonable foreseeability.

(3) Online Information and User Conduct Risks

You understand and agree that when using the services, you may encounter risks arising from online information or the conduct of other users.

AnyShort does not warrant the truthfulness, suitability, or legality of the relevant information, nor is it liable for damages caused to you by third-party infringements.

Such risks include but are not limited to:

  • Others anonymously or under false identities publishing information containing threats, defamation, objectionable, or illegal content;
  • Psychological harm, physical injury, or economic loss caused by misleading, fraudulent, or other acts of others, or by use of the services under these Terms;
  • Risks arising from other online information or user conduct.

(4) Not Suitable for Critical Fields

AnyShort's products and services are not designed for specific high-risk or critical uses, including but not limited to:

  • Nuclear facilities;
  • Military uses;
  • Medical facilities;
  • Transportation;
  • Other similar critical fields.

If system or service failures cause operational failure in the above fields and further result in personal injury, property damage, or environmental destruction, AnyShort shall not be liable.

(5) Enforcement Not a Guarantee

The rights granted to AnyShort under these Terms to handle illegal or non-compliant content do not constitute an obligation or commitment by AnyShort to handle all non-compliant content.

AnyShort cannot guarantee that every violation of these Terms will be detected or addressed promptly.

(6) Prevention of Online Fraud

Under no circumstances should you trust online information concerning assets, property, loans, or requests for passwords.

When transactions involving assets or property are involved, you should first verify the true identity of the counterparty and pay attention to anti-fraud tips issued by AnyShort.

XVIII. Material Breach and Handling Measures

For conduct expressly identified as material breach in these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Violating personal and non-commercial use restrictions;
  • Using unauthorized plugins or third-party tools to interfere with services;
  • Infringing the intellectual property rights of AnyShort or other rights holders;
  • Using the services to engage in illegal or regulatory violations;
  • Violating local laws, regulations, moral requirements, or social customs;
  • Using the services to involve AnyShort in political or public incidents;
  • Other material breaches specified in these Terms.

In the event of a material breach, AnyShort has the right to take the following measures:

  • Restrict service or account functions;
  • Suspend or terminate the user's use of services;
  • Freeze or terminate the account;
  • Retain fees already paid by the user as liquidated damages;
  • Pursue legal liability against the user.

If the actual losses suffered by AnyShort due to your breach exceed the amount retained, AnyShort has the right to seek further legal recovery for the excess amount.

XIX. Adjustment, Suspension, and Termination of Services

(1) Service Modifications

AnyShort may modify service content based on actual circumstances, and may suspend, interrupt, or terminate part or all of the services.

(2) Termination Without Notice

In any of the following circumstances, AnyShort has the right to interrupt or terminate the provision of services to you without prior notice:

  • The law requires the user to provide truthful information, but the information submitted by the user is untrue or inconsistent with the information provided at registration, and the user cannot provide a reasonable explanation;
  • The user violates applicable laws and regulations or these Terms;
  • Government authorities or judicial organs issue relevant orders;
  • The services need to be stopped for security reasons;
  • Other circumstances where interruption or termination is necessary.

XX. Updates to Terms and Acceptance

(1) Acceptance

By accessing and using AnyShort, you indicate that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms.

(2) Amendments

AnyShort may amend these Terms when necessary. You may view the current valid version on the relevant product or service page.

(3) Continued Use

If you continue to use AnyShort software or services after these Terms are updated, you will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.

If you do not accept the updated content, you should stop using the software and services provided by AnyShort.

XXI. Special Rules for Minor Users

(1) Guardianship Requirement

Users under the age of 18 are minors and should read these Terms under the supervision and guidance of their guardians and use AnyShort services under the accompaniment of their guardians.

(2) Precautions When Using the Internet

Minor users may have insufficient understanding of the real world and the online environment, may be easily misled by online content, and may be harmed due to a lack of danger recognition and self-protection capabilities.

Therefore, minor users should pay special attention to the following when using the services:

  • Correctly understand the differences between the online world and real life, avoid excessive online immersion affecting daily life;
  • Carefully protect their personal information;
  • Use the Internet correctly under the guidance of guardians;
  • Avoid participating in online interactive activities or illegal activities initiated by unfamiliar persons.

(3) Responsibilities of Guardians and Schools

Guardians and schools should provide more attention and guidance to minors using AnyShort services.

We recommend that parents or guardians provide appropriate guidance on Internet use for their minor children to help reduce the possibility of online risks.

If a parent or guardian believes that their minor child, especially a child under 10 years of age, needs to use AnyShort services, they may register an account on behalf of the child.

Such account must be registered in the name of one of the parents or guardians, and the parent or guardian shall determine whether the relevant services of AnyShort are suitable for the minor.

XXII. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

(1) Governing Law

From the effective date of these Terms, their formation, performance, and interpretation shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where AnyShort operates, excluding its conflict of law rules.

Disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall also be handled in accordance with such laws.

(2) Dispute Resolution

If a dispute or conflict arises between you and AnyShort, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation.

If negotiation fails, you agree to submit the relevant dispute to the competent arbitration institution in the relevant jurisdiction for arbitration.

(3) Headings

The headings in these Terms are for convenience of reading and reference only and shall not be used as a basis for interpreting the content of the Terms.

(4) Severability

If any provision, condition, or stipulation of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part for any reason, the validity of the remaining provisions, conditions, and stipulations shall not be affected.

The remaining content shall continue to bind both the user and AnyShort.
